Our Story
In 2021, Dr. Kerry Nemovicher, a former scientist from Bell Labs, and Lloyd Mahaffey, a former Apple Executive, began a collaboration that focused on the key vulnerabilities in the cybersecurity industry. They quickly arrived at a simple but critical realization: existing security tools were failing to detect threats when it mattered most — at the moment of arrival.
After designing a unique and survivable architecture, filing a series of patents, and developing the key solution to meet Linux, Windows, and Mac, they officially launched Crytica Security with the patented Rapid Detection, Alert, and Isolation (RDAi™) system. RDAi™ operates inside devices to detect threats in seconds, including previously unseen and undocumented malware.
Today, Crytica’s technology is deployed across critical infrastructure environments, with growing expansion into defense, utilities, manufacturing, and industrial systems.
